Breeding Stock Sale in Buenos Aires, Argentina (Arturo Bullrich)

The Argentinian company Arturo Bullrich S.A. will hold a breeding stock auction in the Palermo Racetrack, June 21th, 2011. A total of 54 horses will be presented, including broodmares, broodmare prospects, products of 2009 and 2010, horses in training and stallions prospects.

Lot 5. Sai Tirando (USA, 2007) [Leroidesanimaux-Encandiladora]. a bay filly, winnner in San Isidro. In training. Her dam is G2 winner and G1 placed in Argentina and comes from the family of Esnaola [dam of Halo Ola, Sebi Halo, Jacky Halo]

Lot 15. Urucubaca (ARG, 2008) [Peintre Celebre-Lovely Celina(Sihpon)] is a chestnut filly in training, unraced. Her 3rd dam is Mysterious (Epsom Oaks, 1,000 Guineas, Yorkshire Oaks, etc.

Lot 48. Sendintheclowns (BRA, 2006) [Know Heights-Heavenly Dancer(Fitzcarraldo)] is a Gr.1 winner (Gran Premio M.A. Martínez de Hoz, Gr. 1, Feb. 2011) and Gr. 1 placed (second in the GP Carlos Pellegrini, 2010], full brother to Princesa Carina (Gr. 2 winner in ARG) and half brother to Out of Control (Vettori), group 1 performer in Brazil and USA and Notre Dame (Royal Academy) (Gr. 3 winner in Brazil).

Lot. 53 is Successful Affair [ARG, 2005] [Successful Appeal-Stone Flower(Storm Bird)], a bay horse, G1 winner (Premio General San Martín - G1 ARG). Sold as an stallion prospect.

Lot 54. is Mestre [ARG, 2005] [Easing Along-Originaria(Roy)], a chestnut horse, three times Gr. 1 placed in Argentina, including 2nd in the GP Estrellas Classic G1 (to City Banker), 2nd in the GP. República Argentina G1. He is sold as an stallion prospect.

Pure Prize and Giant's Causeway top the San Isidro Million Sales in Argentina

Lot 5. the filly Renaceré [Pure Prize-Jacky Halo], was the maximum price of the three days San Isidro Million Sales in Buenos Aires, organized by Arg-Sales. She was consigned by Haras Nación Irlanda and bought by Starting Gate Stables in 610,000 argentinian pesos. Her dam, Jacky Halo, is Gr. 3 placed in Argentina and sister to Gr.1 winners Sebi Halo, Halo Ola and Snapy Halo.

Two products of Giant's Causeway realized 270,000 pesos each.
Lot 14. De Cero [Giant's Causeway-Devil's Grin(Devil's Bag)], a colt, was consigned by La Mission and sold to Alfredo Gaitán Dassié. The third dam of De Cero is Oil Fable, dam of Cara Raffaela (the dam of Bernardini (Preakness Stakes, Gr. 1).

Lot. 37, Pryanka, a filly by Giant's Causeway and Floridana(Woodman), also realized 270,000 pesos with same consignor and buyer as Lot 14. Pryanka is half sister to Climay (Gr. 1 winner in Argentina).

A colt by Noble Causeway was the top of the Goresbridge sale

Lot 77, consigned by Powerstown Stud and bought by BBA Ireland, a bay colt by Noble Causeway and Lusi Pond (Elusive Quality) was the top lot of the Goresbridge breeze-up sale of May 20th, reaching 130,000 euros.

The second highest price was that of Lot 62, a bay colt by Royal Applause and Tychy, consigned by Torard House Stud and bought by Gary Moore Racing in 90,000 euros.

The total amount of sales was 1,593,650 euros, up from 1,129,800 in 2010. There were 148 catalogued products (136 in 2010), with 21 withdrawn, 127 on offer and 116 sold.

Loughtown Stud for sale in auction June 29th

Loughtown Stud, a 171 acres stud in Kildare, Ireland, will be sold in auction June 29th by Goffs Country, the branch of Goffs for equine properties.

It includes a ranch style bungalow and 4 staff residences. Loughtown Stud is owned by Felipe Hinojosa, owner also of Dehesa de Milagro in Spain and Chevington Stud in Newmarket.
